Our annual Spring Fling event was held on Saturday, April 7th. The event was hosted at 447 Race Street, a beautiful venue in the heart of the Arts and Entertainment District, and which embodies years worth of work and inspiration to bring entertainment and unique performance venue to Cambridge.
Over 150 guests packed the event and enjoyed a silent and live auction, and dinner and drinks from The High Spot. Thank you to Dorchester Center for the Arts, The Main Street Gallery and Joy Staniforth who created unique, one-of-a-kind, centerpieces for the event.
Downtown Cambridge honored special projects including the New Year’s Eve Boat Drop and it’s organizers Scott Shilling, Rob Kramer, and Brian Roche! Also Honored were the Past Presidents of Cambridge Main Street Joy Staniforth, Dave Harp, Tom Hutchinson, and Chad Malkus.
Ted Brooks was the “Dude of the Year” and was honored for his over 8 years of volunteerism on behalf of the organization. In recognition of his service he was presented with the 2018 Marjorie S. Lednum Award.
