Rosato Harriet Tubman mural attracts national attention

The Harriet Tubman mural by artist Michael Rosato is located in the vicinity of Cannery Way. the mural and a viral photo of 4 year old Lovie is attracting national attention since being captured by grandmother Tracy Lynndee, and downtown shop owner of Maiden Maryland.

The mural is a project by the Dorchester Center for the Arts in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Maryland State Arts Council, and in partnership with Alpha Genesis, the Harriett Tubman Museum and Educational Center. The project was also partially supported by Cambridge Main Street which made a recent award to the project in support of public art in the downtown.
