Globe’s Groove : Living History of Illustrated Globe Posters

GLOBE POSTER EXHIBIT, TALK, and FILM SCREENING!

6pm – 10pm @ 447 Race Street (Historic Phillips Hardware Building)

Join us for a special event kicking off the weekend. A exhibit of over 50 private collection globe posters, a talk by Graphic Designers Bob Cicero and Mary Mashburn of MICA, and a never before seen short film produced by Cambridge native and Baltimore arts scene writer John Lewis and friends.

The short 15 minute film helps introduce the story of the infamous posters and the Globe Poster family business that made such an impact on music history.

We will also be UNVEILING a special documentary screening by Cambridge native John Lewis! You won’t want to miss this event… A great way to kick off a fun weekend of music! Adult refreshments will be served.

Tickets are on sale for $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Tickets include 1 drink ticket and light refreshments!
