Choptank Heritage Skipjack Race

The annual Choptank Heritage Skipjack Race will be held September 22. Watch as these endangered ships race along the Choptank River in preparation for oyster season. Enjoy the pre-race festival and boat parade along with a radio-controlled skipjack regatta from the docks of Long Wharf during the middle legs. The winner receives bragging right for the year and all participants get equal show-up money for boat maintenance and preservation.
