That’s right, folks – it’s that time of year, and it’s ‘beginning to look a lot like Christmas. This year, we celebrate our 70th Anniversary! We hope you will show your support of this year’s event, themed, “70 Years of Christmas Cheer”, by volunteering, donating, being a participant, or by coming out on December 1st to witness the event as a spectator. One of the BIGGEST holiday parades on the Eastern Shore! Fun for the whole family!
Here is the schedule of events:
4:00pm Live music performance at Gay / Race / Poplar Street intersection
4:45pm Official lighting of the Bushel Basket Tree at intersection of Gay / Race / Poplar Street
5:00pm The parade kicks off!
Route: Beginning at Water / High Street the parade rides down High Street, turns south onto Poplar Street, then goes straight down Race Street and ends at Washington Street intersection. Bring a folding chair with you.
Port-O-Potties available downtown in Cannery Way pocket park, Black Water Bakery Parking lot, and next to Katie Mae’s Country Restaurant.
