Main Street Gallery – ARTFUL GIVING show is hung! Great gifts for giving and a raffle to benefit a local charity! MSG will raffle off a signed, numbered and framed print by Paul McGehee to benefit Anchor Point, a local charity providing education, mentoring, job skills training and business incubation opportunities for youth and adults through community collaboration partnerships. Special Reception from 5 – 8pm.
Dorchester Center for the Arts – The Center welcomes Wednesday Morning Artists & Friends for an artful holiday show and sale in the galleries! Over twenty artists and artisans are showcasing their creativity in a variety of mediums, festively displayed against a backdrop of origami cranes. Spanish Guitar hosted at Black Water Bakery from 5pm – 8pm. Introducing Alex Pool on guitar! Mr. Pool is an extremely talented guitarist specializing in Classical and Spanish music. He studied at the prestigious Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria in classical guitar studies. He has played in several restaurants here on the Shore including private parties. “I look forward to playing live at Black Water Bakery during 2nd Saturday from 6:00-8:00pm while supporting the YMCA at the same time”, said Alex. Mr. Pool will perform while creative tapas, specialty drinks and delicious treats are served. Percentage of proceeds to benefit the YMCA. Support the Y all night, come to Black Water for great music and tapas with proceeds donated to the Y, then onto the fundraiser for Margaritaville event!!!
